Nana Agradaa’s Church Heaven Way Ministry Left in Disrepair After Her Imprisonment

The once-vibrant Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, founded by controversial evangelist Nana Agradaa, now stands in quiet despair following her recent imprisonment.

Agradaa, born Patricia Asiedua, was sentenced to 15 years in prison by an Accra Circuit Court on July 3, 2025, after being convicted of fraud and charlatanic advertisement.

In the weeks following her sentencing, viral footage surfaced showing the church premises flooded, overgrown with weeds, and eerily deserted.

Nana Agradaa's Church

The video, reportedly filmed on a Sunday, painted a picture of abandonment, walls crumbling, rainwater pooling, and no sign of the congregation that once filled the sanctuary with fervent prayer.

The imagery sparked widespread concern and debate across social media. Was this the end of Agradaa’s spiritual empire? Had her absence triggered the collapse of her ministry?
However, in a swift rebuttal, Agradaa’s foster son—known online as Agradaa Ba Gyemeso—took to TikTok Live to challenge the narrative.

He shared real-time footage of the church, showing a clean and dry environment, with the weeds cleared and the building intact. He explained that the church is located in a waterlogged area, which can cause temporary flooding after heavy rains, but insisted the viral video was misleading.

Despite the conflicting visuals, one truth remains: Nana Agradaa’s absence has left a spiritual and structural void. Her followers, once drawn by her fiery sermons and controversial “money doubling” claims, now face uncertainty. Some remain loyal, praying for her return.
