Sunny Hostin, a co-host of the popular ABC daytime talk show The View, was noticeably absent from Thursday's episode.
The View, which airs weekdays at 11/10c on ABC, typically features a regular lineup of co-hosts, but Thursday's episode saw a change in the lineup. Ana Navarro, who usually doesn't appear on The View on Thursdays, stepped in to fill the spot left vacant by Hostin. The reason behind Hostin's absence was quickly addressed by co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who informed viewers that "Sunny's not here today."
Hostin was scheduled to be elsewhere, interviewing former First Lady Jill Biden about her memoir View from the East Wing. Viewers will have to wait until next week to see Hostin back on the show. In the meantime, the co-hosts are keeping busy with various segments and guest appearances. This week, The View welcomed actress Anya Taylor-Joy to discuss her role in the Apple TV miniseries Lucky.
The absence of Hostin on Thursday's episode was not the only change in the show's lineup.
