Elijah Randolph addresses concerns after family searches for him following alarming TikTok video

Keyshia Cole’s Brother Elijah Speaks Out After Relatives Initiated Search Following His Concerning “Goodbye” Clip (VIDEOS)

Keyshia Cole’s brother, Elijah Randolph, sparked concern among his family and followers on social media when he posted a disturbing “goodbye” video on TikTok. The clip, shared on Thursday, September 29, hinted at an end to his time online, leaving viewers unsettled and prompting a search effort by his relatives.

In the video, Randolph declared, “This is goodbye forever. I love you and I hope you understand.” He added a message of encouragement, telling viewers they are important and loved. The timestamp on the video indicated it was recorded in February 2026, a detail that left many puzzled.

His brother, Sammy Randolph, expressed alarm when he could not reach Elijah after the video went live. On September 30, Sammy took to social media to share his worries, revealing he contacted authorities to request a welfare check. He stated that law enforcement planned to execute a warrant to search Elijah’s apartment and workplace. Sammy did not believe his brother was engaging in a hoax, noting that noises were coming from Elijah's apartment.

In response to the chaos, Elijah returned to TikTok on Friday, October 2, to clarify his situation. He explained that if he were experiencing a mental health crisis, the internet would be the last place he would turn to. He affirmed that those who matter in his life were aware of his whereabouts and that his message about leaving social media was not about his safety or well-being.

Randolph criticized the sense of entitlement he perceived from the public regarding his personal life. “I go ghost all the time. What’s wrong with that? But this ain’t ghosting. I’m leaving this god forsaken app after I address everyone speaking ill of my family,” he said in a response to a commenter who noted his recent absence.

In a follow-up clip, Elijah addressed allegations from a fellow content creator who suggested his disappearance was staged. He dismissed the claim, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation and his intention to leave social media rather than engage in theatrics.

As concern swelled online, fans and followers rallied to support Randolph, expressing their relief when Sammy confirmed on October 2 that Elijah was safe. However, Sammy hinted that there were deeper issues at play that he could not fully disclose.

The situation has raised questions about the impact of social media on mental health, particularly in the context of public figures. Randolph’s experience serves as a stark reminder of the pressure that can accompany online presence, especially for those with familial ties to the entertainment industry.

Elijah Randolph's video and subsequent clarifications reveal a complex interaction with fame, privacy, and mental health. The concern from his family and fans reflects a broader discourse on the responsibilities of public figures towards their audience and the implications of their online actions. As discussions around mental health continue to evolve, Randolph's case stands as a poignant example of the challenges faced by individuals in the public eye.
