After he refused to allow the police to search it, they forced it open, uncovering Dale's severed head along with partial dismembered remains.
Documents obtained by the New York Post detailed the chilling moment when authorities opened the suitcase on April 2, 2024. “Officers opened the defendant’s suitcase and found Alberta Dale’s partial dismembered remains, including her severed head,” the documents stated. The rest of her dismembered body was not found during the search.
Foy allegedly confessed to the murder, declaring, “She’s in there, I killed her.” He expressed feelings of betrayal, claiming Dale had exploited him. “The only thing she kept doing after the time throughout the whole relationship was just play me, play me like a fool,” he said.
