Deshae Frost delivered a decisive win over YK Osiris, defeating the R&B singer by technical knockout in the second round of their boxing match on October 16 at Adin Ross’ Brand Risk event in Miami. The match, which was anticipated for weeks amid a flurry of trash talk, ended sooner than expected, with Frost securing victory before the scheduled three rounds could play out.
Prior to the fight, tensions escalated significantly. Frost and Osiris had a history, having clashed at a previous Brand Risk event where YK slapped Frost and challenged him to a rematch. The lead-up to the bout included a press conference on October 14, where Osiris insulted Frost and brought fellow content creator DDG into the discussion. As the fight approached, social media buzzed with predictions and commentary, particularly due to Osiris’s pre-fight bravado.
Frost dominated the match from the outset. The bout took a turn in the second round when Frost landed a combination that sent Osiris to the mat. Referee Eric Dali halted the contest, declaring Frost the winner by TKO. The result ignited a wave of reactions on social media, with fans quick to comment on Osiris's earlier trash talk and the surprising outcome.
On The Shade Room Teens’ Instagram, users expressed their disbelief and amusement. One commenter, @thirteenup___, pointed out, “Mind you YK Osiris way taller 😂 and got knocked tf out.” Another user, @moochie_lynn, remarked on Osiris’s prior bravado, saying, “Finally! I hope he never fix his mouth to speak again.” The sentiment echoed across the platform, with @biggsolooo_ writing, “Allat talking to get WHOOPED like that is crazy.”
As the dust settled, Deshae Frost took to social media himself, relishing in his victory. In a livestream during his ride home, he joked, “Is this how Gervonta Davis feel? Is this how Devin Haney feel? I will box everyday of my life if my phone could be like this?” He also confessed to feeling nervous before the fight, admitting, “I was so nervous I was finna sh** myself.”
The boxing match was not merely a spectacle but a culmination of a heated rivalry that had captivated fans online. The early finish left many questioning Osiris’s earlier confidence and whether he would remain a contender in future matchups. Comments poured in, with users like @l.eaaahhh stating, “you got beat up by a MIDGET,” and @siah_7.7.7 adding, “Loudest one in the room usually be the one at the end on the mat.”
Despite the loss, Osiris has been a notable figure in the music scene, known for his work in R&B. However, after this defeat, fans are left pondering whether he will step back into the ring or focus on his music career.
The match served as a reminder that rivalries in entertainment can translate directly into physical contests, with fans eagerly following the outcomes. For Deshae Frost, the victory not only enhances his standing in the ring but also boosts his profile as a content creator. His confident post-fight comments signal a shift in how he may approach future bouts, as he seems ready to embrace the spotlight that comes with victory.
As fans continue to discuss the fight and its implications for both Deshae Frost and YK Osiris, the boxing scene in the realm of social media and entertainment remains charged with excitement, drawing in viewers who are eager for the next showdown.
