Moira Dawson-Williams, mother of one of Kennedy Agyapong’s daughters, has once again spoken out about what she describes as the politician’s ongoing neglect of their child.
The outspoken mother reignited the long-standing feud in a recent video, accusing the the Presidential Aspirant of being absent from their daughter’s life and failing to provide basic support.
The relationship between Agyapong and Dawson-Williams has been strained for years, marked by frequent public disputes. But her latest remarks struck a deeper note, a plea for acknowledgment and responsibility, not just conflict.
“He’s not involved at all,” Moira stated. “Our daughter is now a young woman, and he’s missing everything — not just financially, but emotionally too.”
According to her, the lawmaker has shown little interest in the personal and academic growth of their daughter, despite his reputation as a family man and his vocal support for youth development in Ghana.
Dawson-Williams admitted she has tried to keep things private in recent months, but felt compelled to speak after years of what she calls silence and indifference.
“It’s not about money. It’s about a father knowing his daughter,” she said. “People always talk about what he does for the country. I wish he would do the same for his own child.”
Kennedy Agyapong, known for his blunt speech and larger-than-life political presence, has not responded publicly to Moira’s latest comments. He has, in the past, dismissed similar criticisms and insisted he supports his many children — both financially and otherwise.
The renewed dispute has sparked debate across social media, with many weighing in on the responsibilities of public figures as parents. Some sympathize with Dawson-Williams, while others defend Agyapong, citing the challenges of co-parenting and the private nature of family issues.
Critics, however, say the repeated public clashes hint at deeper emotional wounds, especially for the daughter at the center of it all — a young woman whose personal life continues to be discussed in headlines and comment sections.
This isn’t the first time Moira has made such claims, and likely won’t be the last. But her message remains consistent: recognition, responsibility, and presence matter more than wealth or fame.
