The Black Queens of Ghana arrived home to a warm welcome after finishing third at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) held in Morocco.
Crowds gathered at Kotoka International Airport to celebrate the team’s achievement, marking Ghana’s best WAFCON performance in over a decade.
The Black Queens clinched the bronze medal after a 2-1 victory over Nigeria in the third-place playoff match.
