Eugene Baah, known in showbiz as Choirmaster or Praye Honeho, has finally addressed why he did not attend the 2015 wedding of his former music group member, Praye Tiatia.
In a recent interview on Okay FM with Nana Romeo, Choirmaster explained that his absence had nothing to do with personal issues or group-related tension. According to him, he was out of the country at the time and could not attend.
“I was in Australia,” he said, stating clearly that travel commitments kept him away despite knowing about the wedding in advance.
The clarification comes after years of speculation among fans and media observers who believed his absence signaled deeper issues between the two.
Choirmaster dismissed those assumptions, stressing that his inability to attend was purely circumstantial and had no underlying motive.
The Praye group — made up of Praye Tiatia, Praye Tintin, and Choirmaster — enjoyed significant success in the 2000s and is still remembered for their contributions to Ghanaian music. Although the group eventually split, occasional public appearances and interviews have kept the group’s story in the spotlight.
With this clarification, Choirmaster aims to put an end to one of the lingering narratives tied to their history.
