Ghanaian musician Justice Amoa, popularly known as Patapaa, and his estranged wife, Liha Miller, have officially ended their marriage.
A Ghanaian court granted their divorce, marking the conclusion of a tumultuous relationship that began with a lavish wedding in Agona Swedru in 2021.
Liha Miller, who resides in Germany, confirmed the divorce in a recent interview.
She revealed that due to her commitments abroad, she was unable to attend the proceedings in person but was represented by a Ghanaian lawyer and another individual in court.
The couple’s marriage faced challenges shortly after their union. Liha Miller has previously spoken about the difficulties she encountered, describing the marriage as a “nightmare” and alleging instances of abuse and infidelity. She emphasized her efforts to salvage the relationship before deciding to seek a divorce.
Patapaa, on the other hand, has addressed the divorce in various interviews, expressing his discontent with Liha’s actions on social media and her decision to speak publicly about their marital issues.
He maintained that he continued to wear his wedding ring out of respect for the institution of marriage, even as the divorce proceedings were underway.
With the court’s decision, both Patapaa and Liha Miller can now move forward separately, bringing closure to a chapter that has been the subject of public attention and speculation.
