Two of Daddy Lumba’s older children, Kevin and Denise, have returned to Ghana following the heartbreaking news of their father’s passing.
In a deeply emotional moment captured on TikTok, the siblings were seen at the late highlife legend’s residence, visibly shaken as mourners gathered to pay their respects.
The children, born to Daddy Lumba and his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, were joined by Mama Acheampong—his former teacher and mentor from Juaben Senior High School—who offered comforting words in the midst of their sorrow. Her presence added a layer of warmth and reflection to the somber gathering.
The video, which has since touched thousands online, shows the siblings struggling to hold back tears as they stood among family friends and well-wishers. The atmosphere was heavy with grief, a testament to the profound impact Daddy Lumba had not only on music but on the lives of those closest to him.
As tributes continue to pour in, the scene at his residence serves as a poignant reminder of the personal loss behind the public mourning. Ghana has lost a musical icon—but Kevin and Denise have lost a father.
