Ghanaian Reggae Gospel artist EddyJay Music, born Edward Kwame Agyei Amoah, has released a new single titled “You.” The song is now streaming on all major digital platforms.
“You” blends reggae rhythms with gospel expression, reflecting Eddy Jay’s devotion and lifelong passion for music. The lyrics, “You are my destiny, Aba Father, Messiah, you’re the I Am that I Am, from the beginning to the end, you can open and close no one shut it down”, capture his message of faith and reverence.

EddyJay Music was born in Sewhi Awaso in Ghana’s Western-North Region and started school in Cape Coast.
He is the third of seven siblings. After a leg injury forced him to leave school at age thirteen, he later moved to Accra to live with his uncle, a clearing agent at Tema Harbour. Alongside working with his uncle, he developed his musical craft and began recording songs.
After eight years in that role, he shifted into importation and sales, which kept him away from music for several years.
In early 2024, he decided to return to the studio and began recording again. His recent works include “You,” “Holy Spirit,” “No War,” “Sing Praises,” and “Come.”
EddyJay Music aims to use his songs to inspire faith and positivity while promoting Ghanaian gospel reggae on a broader scale. He is open to collaborations, partnerships, and label support to expand his reach and bring his music to global audiences.
“You” represents his renewed focus and commitment to gospel reggae, a blend of worship and rhythm that connects with both the spiritual and musical roots of his journey.
