Ghanaian music legend Reggie Rockstone, known as the “Hiplife Grandpapa,” captivated fans by participating in a mixed martial arts (MMA) exhibition match at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra. Facing off against the younger William Addo, the 61-year-old artist demonstrated remarkable agility and determination.
The bout, part of the Global Warrior Champions MMA showcase, began with a tense moment as Rockstone was knocked down by a well-placed kick from Addo. However, showcasing his enduring spirit, Rockstone quickly regained his footing, much to the delight of the audience.
As the match progressed, Rockstone found his rhythm. Utilizing effective grappling techniques, he managed to take control, eventually executing a clean takedown and securing a submission hold that led Addo to tap out.
