I want her home” – Agradaa’s Daughter breaks hearts as She Cries to Court for her Mother to be Released

A teenage daughter of Nana Agradaa has made a heartfelt appeal to the court, asking for leniency following her mother’s recent 15-year prison sentence.

In a video now circulating widely on Tiktok, the young girl is seen tearfully addressing the court, saying: “15 years is long. What am I to do? I need my mom.”

The emotional moment has sparked a wave of public reaction. Many viewers expressed sympathy for the girl, arguing that her age and circumstances should be taken into account. Some suggested that the court reconsider the length of Agradaa’s sentence in light of her daughter’s plea.

Others, however, were more critical. Some users questioned the timing and motive behind the video, suggesting it might be part of a coordinated effort to draw public sympathy for the jailed former priestess-turned-evangelist.

Nana Agradaa, once a well-known fetish priestess, gained notoriety for promoting a controversial “money doubling” scheme known as Sika Gari. After years of operating under traditional spiritual practices, she rebranded herself as an evangelist and founded the Heaven Way International Ministry.

Authorities charged her with defrauding members of the public through false promises and deceptive religious advertising. She was convicted of defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement, and sentenced to 15 years in prison with hard labour.

Though her guilt was established in court, the emotional toll on her family—particularly her young daughter—is now becoming part of the broader public conversation.

Whether her daughter’s plea will have any impact on the case remains to be seen. But for now, her simple message—”I need my mom”—has captured national attention.
