Ghanaian Artist Takum Drops Songs of Reality II, A Motivational Blueprint for ‘Go Getters’

Ghanaian artist Takum has released a new 4-track EP titled Songs of Reality II, a project that blends raw emotion with everyday truth.

Released on November 14, the EP includes No Rush, Go and Sleep, Mission Failed, and Imagination.

Each track carries a message that speaks to the hustle, setbacks, and dreams many people face. Takum’s voice is calm but firm, his lyrics are simple yet deep, and the production stays true to Ghanaian rhythm.

Takum, born Fred Baaffour Asare on June 26, 1992, comes from Nyankumasi Ahenkro in the Assin South District of Ghana’s Central Region.

He started music with a passion to reflect the lives of ordinary people. Over the years, he has grown into a respected voice in Ghana’s music scene.

Earlier this year, Takum teamed up with dancehall king, Shatta Wale for a remix of his song Don’t Fall In Love.

The collaboration gave Takum a wider audience and showed his ability to hold his own alongside one of Ghana’s biggest names. The remix added a new energy to the track and helped cement Takum’s place as a rising force in the industry.

With Songs of Reality II, Takum continues to build his brand as a storyteller and a voice for the go-getters. His music is for those who’ve faced failure but still keep going. It’s honest, emotional, and grounded in the reality of everyday life.
