Ghanaian lawyer and social commentator, Maurice Ampaw, has made shocking revelations about the past struggles of business mogul Richard Nii Armah Quaye and his first wife, Joana.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Maurice Ampaw claimed he knows exactly how Mr Quaye accumulated his wealth.
He further alleged that Joana, Mr Quaye’s former wife, endured immense hardship with him when they had little and lived together in Lartebiokorshie.
According to Ampaw, Joana was a strong pillar in Mr. Quaye’s life before he attained his current financial status.
He revealed that Joana had sought his legal services for their divorce, but he declined due to the personal relationship he had with them.
The lawyer also disclosed that Joana frequently confided in his mother as she was crying always over her marital struggles.
He further claimed some of the allegations Joana made against her ex-husband in the divorce documents were so serious that they could potentially ruin his reputation and business empire if made public.
Ampaw went on to criticize Mr. Quaye for spending exorbitant amounts on foreign artists while overlooking talented local musicians who deserve recognition and support.
